Lauren shares a story of how injuries have been a big challenge for her as a runner.
How do you stay so motivated and accountable?
Lauren is very self-motivated. She talks about how striving for personal bests and continuously improving is a big motivator. Lauren’s daughter is also a huge motivator in her life as well.
Key Advice For Beginners
It can be really discouraging in the beginning. Don’t judge your progress by the first step or the first mile. Remember that even if it’s really hard, it’s supposed to be so don’t give up.
“Run now, wine later.”
