Biggest challenge

As a runner, overuse injuries are pretty common. Sandra talks about how she avoids injuries on the physical side. Sandra also shares a few very emotional stories and challenges she has faced along her journey and what she’s doing to overcome it.

How do you stay so motivated and accountable?

Sandra uses goal setting to help her stay on track and accountable to herself. Her husband, family and friends are also big motivators to keeping her on track.

Key Advice For Beginners

The beginning is always the hardest. Make sure you set specific goals, and reward and celebrate your goals along the way in order to help yourself stay on track.

    I would disagree a ton. Road running is much harder on your body from an injury stand point.
